ABOUT ABOUT

A chance to set state records for South Carolina in the Log Clean and press, as well as the Deadlift.

Log Clean and Press Rules:

Elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, wrist wraps, grip shirts, chalk, and belt allowed. Must wait for a down command. Must control the implement all the way to the ground to count as a rep. Wessels Rules apply. This means: 3 attempts, you tell me your opener at weigh-ins. You can change your opener up to the time of the comp but can only go up, not down. Then after each successful attempt, before you leave the platform, you will tell the judge your next attempt. If you miss you are out. If your the last lifter in your class and break the state record for your class, I will give you a fourth attempt that you can choose whatever weight you want on.

Deadlift, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, belts, straps, deadlifting suits, wrist wraps, deadlifitng socks are all allowed. Same rules apply as above....
Must wait for a down command. Must control the implement all the way to the ground to count as a rep. 20lb jumps for the men up to 260lbs, then 10 lb jumps from there.

MAX Farmers for 30 ft

Everything allowed but straps or any other kind of grip aid. Athlete will give me the weight if their one and only attempt at weigh-ins. Once again you can change that weight leading up to the competition but can only go up not down. You'll have unlimited time to carry your weight 30 ft. No drops allowed. The person with the heaviest successful run, will win this event. Time will not matter unless 2 people choose the same weight in the same class and both complete. Then time will be the tie breaker.

Once again this is for State records for the Log and Deadlift and a chance to qualify for USS Nationals in 2019. Weight classes are as listed on the USS Website.

Weigh-ins will be held on Friday, the 22nd at Palehorse Strength and Conditioning from 6-8 a.m., 12-3:00 p.m. and from 4-7 p.m., as well as Saturday the 23rd from 8:00 a.m. -9:00 a.m.

Comp location is at Palehorse Strength and Conditioning.
